Jacinto the Best in the VETS
Last week March 30th, the VETS 50+ was scheduled on the calendar of events of the federation. It was the first master tournament of this year, where male players above the age of 50 could show the younger ones the experiences they have achieved during all those years the playing table tennis.
There were 15 subscriptions, 6 in the 50-59, 8 in the 60-69 and 1 above the age of 70 year. The matches were scheduled in 4 groups with the first 2 classified, heading further to the quarter finals. It was obvious that the final battle will be among Izi Moeniralam, Peter Wong, Hensley Wentwoord and Jacinto Zimmerman. It was finally Jacinto Zimmerman, who finally put this tournament on his name, winning of Peter Wong 3-0.
